House Rules
Welcome to Casa El Sueño. To make your stay and that of other guests as pleasant as possible, we ask that you carefully read and respect the following house rules. By staying with us, you agree to these terms.
1. Smoking & Vape
Smoking and the use of electronic cigarettes/vapes are only permitted on the rooftop terrace. Smoking or vaping in the rooms or indoor areas is strictly prohibited. A fine for violations is €150 (for additional cleaning and repair costs).
2. Drug use
The use, possession, or sale of soft and hard drugs is prohibited in or around the property. In the event of violation, we reserve the right to terminate your stay immediately without refund.
3. Peace and quiet
Please be considerate of other guests and the host. Quiet hours: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM. During these hours, absolute silence must be observed in and around the property. Excessive noise (music, boisterous behavior, etc.) is also prohibited during the day.
4. Damage and responsibility
Guests are required to immediately report any damage to the interior, furnishings, or property. The cost of repairs or replacements will be borne entirely by the guest who caused the damage.
5. Visitors and additional guests
Visitors are only permitted after consultation with the host. Visitor stays are limited to a maximum of two hours. If a visitor stays overnight, the regular room rate for additional guests applies.
6. Keys and security
If a key is lost, a €50 charge will be made. All doors must be locked when leaving the property. Guests are responsible for storing their own valuables safely.
7. Check-in and check-out times
Check-in: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Check-out: no later than 12:00 PM. Late check-out is only possible upon request and may incur additional charges.
8. Pets
Pets are not allowed. Violations will result in immediate termination of your stay without refund, and a €150 fine plus any cleaning fees will be charged.
9. Safety
It is forbidden to misuse fire extinguishers. Fine: €200. The use of candles, incense, or open flames in the rooms is prohibited. Always keep escape routes and emergency exits clear.
10. Dealing with the environment and sustainability
Guests are requested to respect the environment and the interior. Do not throw cigarette butts or litter on the property or in the surrounding area. Use water and electricity sparingly.
11. Payement
Payment is due before or upon check-in, unless otherwise agreed. Accepted payment methods: cash, bank transfer, and credit card.
12. Fines for violation of house rules
Smoking or vaping in rooms/indoor areas: €150
Bringing pets: €150 + cleaning fee
Misuse of fire extinguishers: €200
Loss of key: €50

To ensure that Casa el Sueño continues to look beautiful, we ask that you do not leave any rubbish in the common areas.

You can deposit your waste in the designated bins.
Pets
Pets are not allowed.
Room maintenance
We have access to the apartments every day from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM for a basic cleaning. If you don't think this is necessary, please let us know.
Exit plan
In the room near the room door you will find a simple map with the escape routes and emergency exits.

Departure
Sadly, every holiday must come to an end.
Before you leave your room, we kindly ask you to note the following:
• The air conditioning or heating is turned off
• All windows and doors are closed;
• Any moved furniture is returned to its original location;
• Rubbish has been deposited in the bin;
• You have reported any breakage and/or damage to the room or inventory.

Sustainable entrepreneurship is a top priority at
Casa el Sueño.
We use sustainable materials wherever possible in the house maintenance, and the rooms are cleaned with environmentally friendly products that carry the eco-label.
An eco-label is a quality mark awarded to products or services that have a lower environmental impact than comparable products or services, based on a number of predetermined criteria.
We kindly ask you to consciously observe a few simple daily habits during your stay.
You too can ensure a sustainable stay by paying attention to a few points.
• Turn off the air conditioning in the evening and when leaving the room, or set it to 15°C in winter.
• Unplug the charger when devices such as mobile phones are not being charged.
• Use water sparingly while showering, brushing your teeth, and washing your hands.
• Don't leave lights on unnecessarily.

Do you have an idea of your arrival time in Arcos de la Frontera? Check-in is from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
If you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage while your room is being prepared.

Important information when you come to Casa el Sueño:
• Please send a message (via bookig.com) approximately one hour before arrival so we can welcome you. Although Casa el Sueño is my home, I am not available 24/7. If you don't call, you may find yourself in front of a closed door.
• Don't use a navigation system to reach Casa el Sueño. It will take you via the shortest, yet also impossible, route to the B&B. Below is information on how to reach the B&B and where to park.
• Please note! The streets in the old town are very narrow. Please be careful if you decide to drive to our home address.
• Parking in front of Casa El Sueño is not possible. You can park in the street in front of Casa El Sueño to unload your luggage. You will then need to park further down the street.
• When you arrive and it is very hot, I strongly advise against walking through the village with a lot of luggage.
• You can call a taxi using one of the numbers below. Or take a taxi at the taxi rank. The cost is approximately €8.
• You can take the local bus marked "Centro" from the bus stop in Plaza España. The bus is free if you provide the address or location.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast and fresh coffee in our cozy breakfast room. For lunch or dinner, head to one of the small, family-run restaurants, where you can savor traditional dishes prepared for generations. Be amazed by the rich flavors and fresh ingredients that make the region so special. And don't forget to finish your meal with a sweet local dessert and a glass of local wine or sherry.

Late Check-out
Normal check-out is at 12 pm.
A short extension to 12:30 pm. is free of charge (if possible).
The following surcharges apply for late check-out
(subject to availability):Until 2 pm. → surcharge €20
Until 4 pm→ surcharge €35
after 4 pm. → an additional night will be charged.
Late check-out is always subject to availability and must be requested in advance.

BREAKFAST
BREAKFAST AS IT SHOULD BE:
FRESH, GENEROUS & DELICIOUS
The standard breakfast is generous in portion, with a choice of sweet and savory dishes. It's served daily with fresh eggs, local meats, and produce.
Side dishes may include fresh local seasonal fruit, bacon or sausage made with a special local recipe, freshly squeezed orange juice, specialty coffee, and hot tea with every breakfast.
A standard breakfast is included in the room rate.
A surcharge applies for the à la carte menu (subject to availability).
If you have booked a stay without breakfast, you can still have breakfast if you wish. The cost is €10.00 per person per day. Please let me know before 7:00 PM.
Breakfast is served from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
Check-out is at 12:00 PM.
Early/Late check-in
Een vroege aankomst is soms mogelijk, maar is afhankelijk van de beschikbaarheid van uw kamer na het vertrek van de vorige gasten en nadat deze grondig is schoongemaakt.
U bent welkom om al eerder uw bagage achter te laten en van het dorp te genieten.
